Health Centre

The health centre is the heart beat of the institute which provides Treatment for defferent diseases and also provide first aid to the injured. All National programmes such as Polio, and Immunization programme are organized with the help of Local Health Authorities.

In case of Medical emergency, the Ambulance van is available 24 hours for taking patients to other hospital for the required treatment.

Nursing Staff

Two staff nurses are available in NIT Health Centre. They provide day care facilities like nebulization, Oxygen Inhalation and Intravenous Fluid Infusion.

One staff nurse is deputed in girls Hostels during night hours to assist any casuality/emergency in the girls hostel.

Pharmacy

The Pharmacy at the Health centre makes available all the medicines prescribed by the institute Medical Officer. Dressing materials, disposable gloves and syringes are also made available.

Chemist Shop

A Chemist shop provides all the medicines prescribed by the Medical Officer and caters other items needed in any case of emergency.
